Yash’s real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda. He was born on 8th January 1986 in Bhuvanahalli, Hassan, Karnataka, India. His father Arun Kumar used to work in BMTC and mother Pushpa Kumar is a homemaker.
He has a sister named Nandini. He is married to Radhika Pandit on 9th December 2016. On 2nd December 2018, the couple got blessed with a baby girl.

School & Career
Yash completed his schooling from Mahajana High School in Mysore. Soon after his studies, he joined the Benaka drama troupe which was formed by noted dramatist B. V. Karanth.
He satrted as a TV actor in Uttarayana in 2004. He debuted first Kannada film industry with Jambada Hudugi in a lead role in 2007.
In 2010, Yash starred in Modalasala which became his first commercial solo hit. His next film was Rajadhani in 2011. In 2012 Yash had two major releases, Lucky and Jaanu which received mixed reviews.
